About:

Casey started racing mountain bikes back in his high school days.  Oddly enough, it was a car accident that left him with a broken back, which provided the funds for his first mountain bike, which he still rides today.  His first road bike, the legendary Trek 1000, was bought shortly after watching his first criterium, the Athens Twilight. His cycling was briefly put on hold for four years while he assumed the position of center midfielder for the Lee University soccer team.  After college, and without a job, Casey and younger brother Ty took over the family van for the summer and traveled to every race within the Southeast, notching several wins and a couple of state titles between them. In 2007, Casey won several races and also became the Cat 1 state criterium champion. In 2009, after a hiatus from racing in 2008 and some persuasive efforts from Mr. Clifford, Casey joined Locos Cycling.  Outside of cycling, Casey is a flight instructor for Falcon Aviation Academy in Athens, GA. Go see him if you want to learn how to fly!

The Locos Cycling Team management says “Casey is a big hairy American winning machine”…….we will see a lot of his hot nasty speed this year!
